FULL DESCRIPTION

DETAILS

The quilt top is a scrappy mix of rectangles, using a fun mix of prints in florals, geometrics, plaids, florals, with horse and carriage, cowboys, teapots and other novelty designs. It is eye-catching and the mix of prints is so fun! Single clamshell quilting on Hobbs Supreme 100% Cotton batting, and soft white backing gives this quilt the coziest feel

The quilt top was hand pieced using white thread (a few machine sewn rows).

This quilt measures 65 x 77 inches. It is a fluffy, heavy-weight quilt with soft cotton batting.

The backing is a soft white solid. The binding is a facing, showing on the back only, made with a coordinating vintage floral, hand finished on the backing. Hand appliquéd flowers made from vintage fabrics form a label on the back of the quilt.

The finished quilt has been washed and the antique fabrics are in great shape, ready to fill your home with historical warmth. There are no signs of deterioration, missing seams, stains or fading.

CONDITION

The quilt is in great condition with only one small stain -noted in the photo. The finished quilt has been machine washed (with no agitator and gentle spin cycle), has no stains, or problems with fabrics or seams.

Please note, every attempt is taken to detail imperfections in photos, descriptions, and video. The nature of this item does lend itself to normal age-related issues and must be taken into consideration before purchasing.

CLEANING

To protect your quilt, wash only when needed and spot clean small areas. Machine washing is not recommended for antique quilts to preserve the integrity of the seams and fabrics.
